Wireless Internet

Oulu provides free wireless Internet access to visitors! The PanOULU network provides a wireless, free broadband Internet connection at public service spots. The service is available, free of charge, to all users. The network covers, for example, Rotuaari, market square area, city library, and the Raksila ice stadium.

Using the network does not require registering for a User ID. Any WLAN compatible device can use the network.

At the moment there are over 1200 hot spots. When calculating potential user numbers and range, PanOULU is Finlandÿs largest public wireless network.
